I'll never forget driving through the gorge when doug and i first arrived in oregon 6years ago. i remember saying "this looks like paradise on earth" as we drove by the cliffs with waterfalls cascading and the greenery of the ferns and moss.
the awe still remains, and we were able to go and enjoy our favorite little town of Hood River for my birthday this year. it was a joyful and relaxing way to welcome in my 29th year.
I loved the picture of Doug and the children in the swing. He looks so big and they are so small and all look very happy. Ella looks so cute with her teeth missing and Jack is looking like little man, he's changing every day. Happy birthday Roberta. How nice to get to relax and read a book. Love to you all.
